Her maiden name was Margaret Moersch. At the age of 12 years she came to this country with her father and sisters, staying in Chicago for 2 years and them moved to Minnesota in 1857. On February 18, 1860, she was united in marriage to Anthony Weber who preceded her to the grave 13 years ago. Nine children blessed this union. They are: Mrs. W. E. Nolan, of Waverly; Mrs. Henry Kreger, of Green Isle; Mrs. Joseph Lefto, of Washington Lake; A. G. Weber, of McGregor and Miss Susan and Henry on the homestead. The funeral was held last Friday and was conducted by Rev. Father Coyle, assisted by the Henderson Choir, who sung the Requiem Mass. The pallbearers were Geo. Fuhrmann, M. S. Trimbo, A. M. Berger, Joseph Anderly, John Barth and Thomas Madden.. Of her it may be said that she always walked faithful in the path of duty, whether strewn with thorns or flowers; now she has reached that land of beauty where no storm of sorrow lowers. Requiescat in peace!
