Woehler, one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of this section of the county, passed away at his home in Kelso, on Tuesday evening, April 16, at seven o’clock, of asthma, complicated with plura-pneumonia, aged 78 years. Mr. Woehler had been ailing for some time, but hope was not despaired of until shortly before his death. He had a similar siege of illness two years ago, but overcame it and it was thought that he might outlive this attack owning to his well-known rugged constitution, but his advanced age was against him. The funeral will take place tomorrow (Friday) afternoon from the residence to the New Rome church of which deceased was on of the charter members. He was also a Master Mason, being a member of Henderson Lodge No. 80, A.F. & A.M., and the Lodge, as well as the church, loses one of its best and most worthy members. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
