This is one of the saddest deaths has ever been our painful duty to record. All the circumstances surrounding it are very sorrowful. Stricken down, as she was, in the very prime of life and before she had had many opportunities for enjoying the sweet that always go with the bitter in this vale of tears; leaving five little children, one a babe less than two weeks old, who although they have still loving father and other relatives only need a mother’s care and will miss her tender touch and pleasant smile more and more as the days go on; an indulgent husband, parents, sisters and brothers, are also left to mourn the sad and untimely departure of one who was ever dear to them and whose memory will never be forgotten. Deceased was a daughter of Chas. Timm, of New Rome, and was a true and noble christian woman. The funeral was held Monday afternoon and the remains were taken directly from the residence to the cemetery, being followed by a large concourse of sympathizing friends and relatives. Rev. Kock of the Lutheran church conducted the services and preached a sermon at the church after the burial. We extend our condolence to the afflicted. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
