Henderson, Minn., Jan. 16 - Dr. M. R. Wilcox, clerk of the district court, died at his home in this city Friday evening, aged sixty-one years. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon. He was one of the oldest officers in the state, having held the clerkship for nearly thirty years. Deceased was a leading Democrat and one of the oldest physicians and residents of Sibley county, coming here in 1856. He leaves a wife and eleven children. Deputy C. G. Wilcox, his son has been appointed clerk.
