P. Stearns and wife vs. F. W. Ely, et.als. Two more decisions of cases submitted on February term Court have been filed with the Clerk of the Court of this county by Judge McKelvy. The first is: _________ James Ready vs. City of Duluth. Action for injuries sustained by falling over a bridge and for which plaintiff got judgement last August, in the sum of $14,000. Motion for a new trial on the ground of excessive damages. Argued and submitted. Brisbin & Pierce for Plaintiff; D. G. Cash, City Attorney. In this case the Judge denies the new trial applied for and the judgement stands.
