It is situated opposite the Town of Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin, at the junction of Minnesota Point with the main land of the North Shore of Lake Superior, and has a water frontage both on the St. Louis River and the Lake, with sufficient depth of water for the largest class of steamboats to land their freight and is a safe and secure harbor in any gale. The land adjacent is of the finest quality of farm lands found in this district, and covered with a heavy growth of valuable timber. It is rapidly settling up, and many beautiful locations are under cultivation. A large Steam Saw Mill is already on the place, and improvements progressing rapidly -- another pier 500 feet long will be completed this Fall. Its advantages as a business point cannot be doubted, and for pure air and a healthy climate it is unsurpassed, whilst the surrounding beautiful scenery attracts the admiration of all who visit it. A map of the Town may be seen at the Ofice of Messrs. Holmes & Payte, where any further information will be cheerfully given. EDWARD A.
