Duluth News-Tribune Sunday Pg 5 September 12, 1897

   Charles Voss, driver of chemical No. 4,
was made lieutenant and will be stationed
at Engine house No. 4. Lieut. Murray was
was transferred from No. 4 to First avenue
east and Third street, formerly known as
No. 1, but which is now called No. 3. Voss
was formerly a lieutenant, having been
reduced several years ago during a cut in
the department.
