Faye Marie Ahonen died, Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the the Grand 
Village Nursing home in Grand Rapids. 

She was born on March 22, 1920 in Beresford, South Dakota. She married 
Wilbert Ahonen in Ely in 1942. Faye is survived by her children, 
Jude(Bob) Jalonen, Esther Pereira, David(Sally), Mark, and John(Gail) 
Ahonen; her brother, Dennis Ostrander; sisters-in-law, Anna Laitala and 
Esther Ahonen; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and nieces and 
nephews.

A Memorial Service and burial will be held at a later date in Grand 
Rapids.
