He was born on August 6, 1958 in Winton to Floyd and Adrienne (Huneke) Dubbin. Gary attended school in Ely and then truck driving school in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. He was a lifelong resident of Winton. He enjoyed working on his hotrods, spending time with friends and watching wildlife from his home on the river. Gary's determination and courage was an inspiration to all who knew hime. Gary is survived by his parents Floyd and Adrienne of Winton; a sister: Debbie (Bill) Erzar of Ely; two brothers: Jeff of Duluth and Ron (Lori) of Ely; two nephews: Eddie and Chris Erzar of Ely; his dog: Windsor; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Spinal Cord Society, Wendell Road, Fergus Falls, MN 56537. Family services provided by Kerntz Brothers, A Bauman Family Funeral Home in Ely.
