He was born March 14, 1947, in Ely, to Ernest and Ina (Hautala) Dunstan. He graduated from Ely High School in 1965 and from Brown University in 1969. He received a master’s degree from the University of Michigan. He worked for Ford Motor Company and Lear Design Corporation. Arthur is survived by his wife, Lynn; daughter, Katharine; father-in-law, Robert Finley of Alto; sisters, Bonnie (Jack) Swanson of Silver Bay; Mary Beth (Tom) Witherow of Remer; brothers, James (Connie) Dunstan of Virginia, Richard (Desiree) Dunstan of Ely; numerous nieces and nephews; aunt, Elna Hautala of Ely; and uncle, John A. Smrekar of Duluth
