She was born Dec. 20, 1941 in Duluth to John and Lila Lindroos and was a member of the Ely Memorial High School class of 1959. She is survived by her daughters Kim (Larry) Schuh or Corona, AZ, Connie (Jeff) Wilkeyson of Ellsworth, WI and three grandchildren: Heather and Trevor Schuh and Eliana Wilkeyson who brightened her final years. JoAnn is also survived by her father John Lindroos of Green Valley, AZ, brothers John (Dolly) Lindroos of Ely and Glenn (Carol) Lindroos of Northfield, MN and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Richard Hyvonen in 1974 and her mother in 2003. JoAnn requested no services be held.
