She was born Jan. 20, 1917 to Frank and Angela (Merhar) Miklaucic. She was a lifetime resident of Ely. Angela married Angelo Mobilia on July 28, 1938. She worked at the Ely Shopper for over 30 years. She was the President of the Dawn Club and secretary/treasurer of the Slovenian Ladies Union and also Mother of the Year for the Slovenian Club. She belonged to the AFU and the VFW. Angela was a very active member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She loved gardening, sewing and making potica. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Angelo of Ely; children: Dan (Faye) Mobilia of Tower, Richard (Karon) Mobilia of Ely, Carol (Ray) Camaish of Hoyt lakes, Susan (Merrill) Roberts of Ely, David (Kathy) Mobilia of Ely; 14 grandchildren, 10 great -grandchildren; sisters: Rose Perushek of Langley, WA and Emma Ronkainen, Virginia; brother: John (Phyllis) Miklaucic of Ely. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Frank and Edward Miklaucic and granddaughter, Stacy MacPherson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 28, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Father James Scheuer will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will follow at the Ely Cemetery. Family services provided by Kerntz Brothers, a Bauman Family Funeral Home in Ely.
