Orland D. Narum, 71, of Babbitt dies



Orland D. Narum, 71, of Babbitt died suddenly on Friday, Feb. 25, 2005. 

  He was born June 21, 1933, in Gardner, ND, the son of Oliver and Hildred 

Narum. 

  Orland is survived by his mother, "Hilly" Kappel of Moorhead, MN; four 

children, Mark (Mookie) Narum of Minnetonka, Mickey (Dusty) Morris of 

Reno, NV, Jeff Narum of Reno, NV, and Jackie Gullihur of Fernley, NV; 

three grandchildren, Ryan Morris, Jay Morris and John Narum; a great-

granddaughter, Makenna Morris; previous wives, Edie Harvey and Char 

Smith; and stepchildren, Rich (Julie) Christensen and family and Renee 

Christensen. 

  Memorial service was held on Monday, Feb. 28 in Babbitt. Family services 

provided by Kerntz Brothers, a Bauman Family Funeral Home in Ely. Share a
