Tindal, 60 a resident of Hibbing for 16 years, died Sunday evening in Hibbing General Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born in Taylorsville, Ky., Nov 25, 1902. He was employed as a locomotive fireman by the Oliver Iron Mining Company. He was a member of the Baptist Church, Hibbing. Survivors are his wife, Loretta, Hibbing; six sons, James and Paul, Hibbing; Robert and Ronald, Minneapolis; Kenneth, Houston, Tex,; and Anthony, at home; two daughters, Mrs. F.L. (Lorraine) Miller, Houston Tex., Mrs. Norman (Gladys) Brate, Minneapolis; 15 grandchildren and his mother, Mrs. John Tindal, Austin. Other Survivors are four brothers, Thomas, Louisville, Ky.; Samuel, California; Lee and sister, Miss Nora Tindal, Austin. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Mesaba Funeral Chapel with Rev. J.L. Schroder officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state after 4 p.m. Wednesday until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Ernest Lantz, Lawrence Guderian, Manuel Marcheau, Ivar Jacobson, Peter Miller and Marvin Betters.
