Carl Beyer died at his home in Fairfield last Saturday and was buried the following Monday. Rev. W. H. Kahre officiating. The day of interment was the Fifty-ninth anniversary of his birth. Mr. Beyer was one of the earliest settlers in Swift County, having lived in Fairfield for about thirty years. He was one of the prominent citizens of that town and a very successful progressive farmer.
