MUELLER DEHNE March 26, 1897 to Feb 10, 1982 Anna B. Dehne Mrs. Anna B. Dehne, 85, of Yakima, Wash., died Thursday, Feb 10, at the Summitview Manor Living Care Center. Mrs. Dehne was born March 26, 1897, to Ernest and Bertha Mueller, in rural Appleton, Minnesota, where she was raised and educated. She married Arthur Dehne March 10, 1920 in Minnesota. They came to Washington in 1939, residing in Tieton and later moving to Yakima. Mrs. Dehne was a sorter for Pacific Fruit Company in Yakima for a number of years, and also sorted fruit in Tieton. She later worked part time for Bauer's Greenhouse. Mrs. Dehne was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church, the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and the Teamsters Union Local 760. Survivors include a son, Merlin Dehne, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Kean, of Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Jodie (Janice) Hensley, of Zillah, Wash.; a brother, Alvin Mueller, of Danube, Minn; six sisters, Marie Knoll, of Yakima, Wash, Martha Lang, of Hutchinson, MN, Selma Lenz of Minneapolis, MN., Bertha Dunblad, of Willmar, MN, Mabel Larson, of New London, MN., and Elsie Koehntop, of Minneapolis, MN., eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Arthur Dehne, died in 1967. She was also preceded in death by her parents, by a son Willard Dehne in July 1980, four brothers, and three sisters.
