Ferry, 86. were held at 9:30 a. m. Monday,, Sept. .8, at St. Bridgets Catholic church in DeGraft, Rev. Edward Trainor officiating Mrs. Ferry, pioneer resident of Swift county, died Thursday, Sept. 4. at Valley View. hospital in Jordan. Pallbears were Robert Ferry, Leo Ferry, Gregory McGeary, Ronald Mecklenburg, Joseph Koppl and Gene Plombon. Interment was in the Church cemetery. Mary Dolan was born May 15, 1872 In Boston, Mass., daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Dolan. The family moved to Hegbert Township Swift County,1876, and shortly thereafter to the Danvers area. She was united in marriage to John H. Ferry, son of Thomas and Elizabeth Ferry, in 1898 in Danvers. Following the marriage they Lived on a farm in DeGraff. Survlvlng are; four sons: Thomas C. of Holloway, John D. of Minneapolis, Gregory B. of Benson and Charles A. of Delano: two daughters, Mrs. Mary Vandeberg of Minneapolis and Mrs. John (Susie) McGeary of Danvers; 28 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; herparents, a son, Leo; two sister's. Mrs. Susie Carney and Miss. Margaret Golden and one brother, John Dolan. Relatives and Frineds attending the funeral came from Devils Lake, N. D. Minneapolis.. Bird Island, Morris, St.. Paul. WIllmar, Murdock, Danvers, Raymond, St. Cloud and Brainerd.
