Solemn requiem High Mass was sung by Rev. H. G. McCall assisted by Rev. W. P. Walsh and Rev, Wm. P. Delaney. Miss Golden died at the Franklin hospital in Minneapolis Thursday, October 31. She had been in failing health the last six years. Margaret Ann Golden was born November 10, 1881 in Fairfield Township and her parents moved to West Bank Township in October 1882. She had lived in that community continually until March 1935, when she established residence in Danvers. Due to poor health she gave up her home there and spent most of her time with her sister, Mrs. John Ferry and her brother, the late J.C. Dolan, of Minneapolis, and with relatives in Danvers. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. John Ferry, of Minneapolis and one foster sister, Mrs. Wensel Lisecki, of Danvers; three nieces, Mrs. LeRoy Vandeberg, and Mrs. A. C. Sullivan of Minneapolis, and Mrs. John McGeary of Danvers; six nephews, John and Charles Ferry of Minneapolis, Gregory Ferry of Benson, Thomas Ferry of Holloway, Philip Carney of Helena, Mont., and Lawrence Carney of Devils Lake, N.D. Her parents and one sister (Susan) Mrs. John Carney preceded her in death. Thomas P. Ferry, John O'Neil, Wenzel Lisecki, Thomas R. DoIan, James McGee and W. D. Coy were honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers were Lawrence and Phillip Carney, John and Charles Ferry, Robert Dolan and John McGeary. Those from a distance attending the funeral were Philip Carney Helena Montana, Lawrence Carney of Devils Lake, N. D., John Carney of Jamestown, N. D., Miss. Anne Dolan of Dayton, Mrs. John C. Dolan, Mrs. Dan Haley, Mrs. John Ferry and sons. John and Charles, Minneapolis: Mrs. LeRoy Vandeberg and children and Miss Virginia Dolan, all of Minneapolis Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Carney, Mrs. Edw. Ferry and Thomas Ferry of Willmar, Frank Golden of Montevideo, Mr. arid Mrs. D. B. Johnson of Litchfield, Miss Mary Dolan of Green Valley, Miss Lucille Dolan of Tintah, and Mrs. Joseph Flynn of DeGraff.
