FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Judy VanVleet ========================================================================= This is from the Great Falls Tribune, Great Falls, Montana Donald Thomas HENSELIN November 2, 1922 to July 29, 1997 Donald Thomas Henselin Donald Thomas Henselin, 74, of 269 S Manchester Road, a retired Air Force veteran and custodian, died of cancer Tuesday at his home. His funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, followed by burial with military honors at Highland Cemetery. O'Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the church or Peace Hospice of Montana. He was born Nov. 2, 1922, in Swift County, Minn., and graduated from high school in Appleton, Minn. He served in the Air Force during Word War II and continued his Air Force career until retiring in 1968. In 1953 he married Evelyn Schulze in Colorado. They moved to Great Falls in 1965, and after retiring from the Air Force, he worked for Firestone Tire and was a custodian at C. M. Russell High School and the Vo-Tech. He had retired from that work several years ago. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the Vaughn and Manchester Volunteer Fire Departments. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and reading. Survivors include his wife of Great Falls; a daughter, Susan Knoll of Upper Marlboro, Md.; a son Donald "Lee" Henselin of Great Falls; and a brother, Vernon Henselin of San Antonio.
