AUGUST JESKE August Jeske, a prominent farmer of the town of Maryland, passed away at his home last Friday morning. He had been ill several years with consumption. The deceased, who was 30 years of age, was born and brought up in the town of Maryland. He was a prosperous and hard working farmer and much liked by his friends and neighbors. He was married about five years ago to a Miss Callie. He is survived by his wife, one child, two brothers, Robert, of Maryland, and Fred, of Idaho, two sisters, Mrs. Julius Kohler, of Moyer, and Mrs. Otto Reich, of Tara, and his mother who resides with her son Robert. To these the sympathy of the community is extended in this their hour of sad trial. The funeral services were held from the German Lutheran church in the town of Moyer last Monday, Rev. Radeke officiating. The services were very largely attended by friends, relatives and neighbors.
