JESKE HELD DEC. 26 Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Jeske were held Wednesday, December 26, at Hopkins. Interment in Grand View cemetery, Hopkins. She passed away at the home of her son and daughter–in–law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jeske, at Minnewashta, following a short illness. Mrs. Jeske was born in Germany July 3, 1846 and was 88 years old when she died. She came to America in 1870 and lived for a time with her sister in New Ulm, Minn. In 1873 she married Fred Jeske of New Ulm. Three years later they homesteaded at Holloway where they lived until she came to live with her son fifteen years ago. The survivors are her son, Fred, and a daughter, Mrs. Otto Reich of Minneapolis, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
