So, sometimes it's spelled Kohler and sometimes it Koehler. My mother-in-law spelled it Kohler. I have used the Kohler/Koehler - whatever was in the original obit. ______________________________________________ Anne EHLERT KOEHLER September 2, 1878 to April 5, 1967 Services held for Mrs. Anna Kohler Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Kohler, 88, a Holloway resident for 71 years, were held Aprl 8 at Immanuel Lutheran church, Holloway, with Rev. Lyle Rusert officiating. Mrs. Kohler died Wednesday, April 5. Pallbearers were Werner Zick, Martin Schmidt, Arno Strube, Venheart Strube, Lawrence Hamann and Arthur Hamann. Interment took place in the Holloway cemetery. Mrs. Kohler was born in Germany the daughter of the late Karl and Wilhemina Ehlert. She emigrated to America with her parents in 1880 and they settled in Yellowbank township near Odessa. In 1896, where she was united in marriage to Frank M. Kohler, they made their home near Holloway where she had resided since. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Meta Hamann, of Ortonville, and one son, Edwin, of Holloway; four grandchildren, one brother, two sisters and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kohler was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter in infancy and daughter, Mrs. Irvin Zick. Relatives and friends attending funeral services for Mrs. Anna Kohler April 8 were from Missouri Valley, Council Bluffs, Beaver Dam, Genoa, Ia., Hutisford, Wis., Big Stone City, Milbank, S.D., Ortonville, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Holloway, Benson, Odessa, Louisburg, Bellingham and Correll. _________________________________________________________________________
