H. Koehler, passed away at the home of his parents last Monday, January 21, 1907. The little boy contracted a severe cold from the effects of which he did not rally. The medical skill, kind hearts and loving hand could do but little to alleviate the sufferings of the little one, so in the early hours of last Monday God added his little darling to the bright throng that hovers around His heavenly throne, where pain and suffering are unknown. The funeral was held last Wednesday afternoon from the German Lutheran church of Fairfield. Rev. Albert Braner conducting the funeral services. Interment took place at the cemetery adjacent to the church. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved parents in their sad loss.
