The original spelling of Kohler was Köhler.  So, sometimes it's spelled 
Kohler and sometimes it Koehler.  My mother-in-law spelled it Kohler.  I 
have used the Kohler/Koehler - whatever was in the original obit.

Ernest KOHLER September 20, 1901 to March 18, 1926
Ernest Kohler Dead
Ernest Kohler of Moyer township passed away yesterday morning at the 
Benson hospital. He underwent an operation Sunday for appendicitis and 
pneumonia developed later causing his death.
Ernest Kohler was born about 22 years ago in Moyer and had lived all his 
life on the home farm.
He was married a year ago to Laura Mumme who with one sister, Mrs. Herman 
Schultz, Jr. of this city and one brother, Ben, of Moyer, survive.
