FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Judy VanVleet ========================================================================= Frank KOHLER July 1, 1905 to June 14, 1964 Frank Kohler, 58, found dead here Funeral services for Frank Kohler, 58, a lifetime resident of the Appleton area, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at First Methodist church, Rev. R. F. Haining fficiating. Mr. Kohler died Sunday morning about two and one-half miles north of Appleton, an apparent suicide from a .410 gauge shot gun. Honarary pallbearers were Lester Heinecke, Leonard Thompson, John Roggenbuck, Willard Meyer, Virgil Stock and Floyd Hein. Active pallbearers were Norman Nelson, Andrew Nelson, Raymond Nelson, Gordon Nelson, William Nelson and Robert Anderson. Interment was made in Fairfield cemetery. Frank Rueben Kohler was born in Moyer township on July 1, 1905, the son of William and Emma Dallman Kohler. Mr. Kohler lived in Appleton for the past 16 years and prior to that had lived in Moyer township. He was a former employee of Darling Truck Co. and for the last four years was employer by Haas Commission Co. Surviving are one brother, Robert Kohler, of Holloway; and three sisters, Mrs. Augusta Smith of Appleton Mrs. John Anderson (Minnie), of Appleton, and Mrs. William Nelson (Mary, of Appleton.
