So, sometimes it's spelled Kohler and sometimes it Koehler. My mother-in-law spelled it Kohler. I have used the Kohler/Koehler - whatever was in the original obit. ______________________________________________ Julius August KOHLER July 16, 1872 to January 26, 1917 Julius Kohler Julius Kohler, one of the most prominent farmers of Moyer Township died Friday, January 26th at his home after a four months illness of cancer of the stomach. He was one of the pioneer settlers, having moved here with his father and mother some 43 years ago and lived there ever since. He is survived by his wife and eight children, father and mother and two brothers, Fred and Frank. Julius Kohler was a man of true Christian character, respected by all who he associated with. He was a member of the Lutheran Trinity church of Fairfield. The funeral was held Wednesday at 11 A.M. at the home and 2 P.M. at the church. Rev. Radekae officiating.
