KOOSMAN 9-18-1908 to 6-8-1982 Arthur J. Koosman Funeral services for Arthur J. Koosman were held at St. John's Lutheran church, Moyer, Friday, June 11, with Rev. Myron R. Grams officiating. Organist was Lyland Reich. Pallbearers were nephews Wayne Schuetman, Dan Koosman, Virgil Koosman, Myron Koosman, Harvey Koosman and Aaron Koosman. Interment was at the church cemetery. Arthur Koosman was born April 18, 1908, at Sisseton, S. D. to parents Christ and Minnie Koosman. He moved with his parents to Moyer township, Holloway, in 1909. He served in the armed forces during Word War II from 1942 to 1944. He was married to Marjorie A. Pollock. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, of Appleton; three sons, David of Correll, Leo, of Minneapolis, and Andrew of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Kathryn Smith, of Albuerquerque, New Mexico; and four grandchildren; four brothers, Herbert of Buffalo, Reinhart, of Appleton, Christ, of Minneapolis, and Carl, of Holloway; one sister, Mrs. Erhardt (Agnes) Schuerman, of Appleton. Preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers.
