Koosman, 65, a resident of the Appleton area for 58 years, were held Tuesday at Zion Lutheran church with Rev. G. B. Odegaard officiating. Mr. Koosman died Friday, April 7, of a heart attack. Pallbearers were Arland Koosman, Rollin Koosman, Ronald Koosman, Raymond Koosman, Andrew Koosman and Wayne Schuerman. Interment took place in the Appleton cemetery. He was born at Sisseton, S. D., Dec. 2, 1901, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Koosman. He grew up in Moyer township and attended Morris Ag school for one year. His marriage to Dorothea Riba took place at Glenwood City, Wis., June 10, 1926, and they farmed in the Holloway and Danvers area since their marriage. He was confirmed March 28, 1915, in Moyer township and an active member in Zion Lutheran church. Survivors are his wife; three sons, Myron, Marvin and Dennis; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Longnecker (Marlys) and Mrs. Roger Moen (Doris); 11 grandchildren, seven brothers and one sister. His parents and two brothers, August and Robert, preceded him in death.
