FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Judy VanVleet ========================================================================= Leo KOOSMANN July 29, 1910 to March 23, 1874 Leo Koosmann Funeral services for Leo Koosmann, 63, were held Tuesday, March 26, at St. John's Lutheran church, Moyer. Rev. Wm. Natzke officiated at the 1:30 p. m. service. Mr. Koosman died March 23 in Minneapolis. Pallbearers were Marvin Koosmann, Raymond Koosmann, David Koosmann, Eldred Bastian, Wayne Schuerman and Myron Koosmann. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were by Holman-Winje Funeral Home. Leo Koosmann was born July 29, 1910, at Moyer township, to parents Christopher and Wilhelmina Suckow Koosmann. He grew up in Moyer township and farmed in the Holloway area. In 1950 he moved to Cambridge and to Minneapolis in 1954. He was a construction worker in the twin cities area until his retirement about one year ago. Survivors include his daughter, Gloria, and son, Eldor, five brothers, Herbert, of Buffalo, Christ, of Bloomington, Arthur, Reinhart and Carl, of Holloway; one sister, Agnes Schuerman, of Holloway.
