FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Judy VanVleet ========================================================================= Rose MAGUIRE June 11, 1895 to March 5, 1958 Rose Maguire rites held on Saturday Funeral services for Rose Mary Maguire, 62, a lifetime resident of Swift county, were held at 9:30 a. m. on Saturday, March 8, at St. John's Catholic church, with Rev. T. D. Szymanski officiating. Miss Maguire died at University hospital in Minneapolis Wednesday, March 5, after a lingering illness. Pallbearers were Truman, Smaagard, of Appleton, Merle Burns of Crosby, Lamont Sachs, of Ironton, Herman Sachs, of Holloway, James Gilronen of Benson and Edward Glisky, of Appleton. Interment took place in the Appleton cemetery. Miss Maguire was born at North Branch on June 11, 1895, the daughter of James and Mary Nugent. She was adopted by Michael and Mary Maguire. She was a member of St. John's Catholic church and the Rosary Society. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Wensel Liecski (Mary), of Bird Island, Mrs. Samuel Shearer (Marcella), of Gary, Ind., one niece, Mrs. Clifford Cote, of South Bend, Ind., a sister-in-law Mrs. Edith Maguire, of Minneapolis, and four children that Miss Maguire raised, Mrs. Martin Hughes, of Hastings, Mrs. Lyle Paulson, of Benson, Mrs. Lawrence Woolsely, of Minneapolis and Miss Patricia Cain, of Appleton. Out of town people attending the funeral camr from Gary. Ind., Minneapolis, Hastings, Mankato, Hopkins. Morris, Pine River, Crosby, Ironton, Murdock, Benson and DeGraff.
