The cause of death was kidney and liver trouble, from which deceased had been suffering many years. McDonald had been a resident of this village for over 20 years, and was well known to all, He was a carpenter by trade, a good workman and a conscientious and hard working man. He death is deeply regretted by his many friends. He leaves a wife and Six Children. Mr. McDonald was a native Of Nova Scotia, coming from there to New England and afterwards moving west. He lived on a farm in West Bank for a number of years, but has worked at his trade in this village most of the time during the past 20 years. The funeral was held last Saturday morning from the Catholic Church, Rev. Father Shea Officiating.
