The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net *********************************************************************** James McGee, 71, Buried At Danvers Funeral services for James McGee a lifetime resident of the Benson Area was held at 9 am on Friday Feb. 29 at the Visitation Church at Danvers with Rev. Joseph Esser officiating. Mr. McGee died at 7 am on Wednesday, Feb 27 after an illness of Two days. Pallbearers were Warren Martin, Dan Hughes, Tom Ferry, Johnny McGeary, Art Dolan and Wenzel Leskie. Interment took place in the Danvers Cemetery. Mr. McGee was born in Six Mile Grove township on October 15,1880, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael McGee. He grew up in Six Mile Grove and farmed all of his life there. He was a single man. Surviving are six nephews and four nieces, an adopted sister, Mrs. Sam Shear of Gary, Indiana and several cousins. His parents, two brothers, John and Terrence and one sister Elizabeth who died in infancy preceded Mr. McGee in death. Out of town people attending the funeral came from Minneapolis, Villard, Lambert, and Montevideo. Swift County Monitor March 7, 1952
