RISCH May 19, 1877 to October 25, 1949 Rites Today for Wilhelm C. Risch Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Friday, October 28, at Trinity Lutheran church, Fairfield township, for W. C. Risch, 2, who died Tuesday at the home of his son, John, in Moyer township. Rev. E. T. Melchsner will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Wilhelm Christian Risch was born May 19, 1877, at Woodbury, Washington county the son of John and Friadricka Risch. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith there and resided there until he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Johanna Knopf on Oct. 27, 1903, in Fairfield township by Rev. Wm. Marth in Trinity Lutheran church. They made their home on a farm in Fairfield township from 1906 to 1943, when they retired and move to Benson. They made their home there until his death. He had been a lifetime member of the Lutheran church and a member of Trinity Lutheran church, Fairfield township, for the past 43 years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Johanna Risch, a son, John Risch, of Holloway, and four daughters, Mrs. Hubert Kohler (Amanda) of Holloway, Mrs. August Schmidt (Mabel) of Willow River, Clara Risch and Mrs. Morris Strand (Helen), both of Benson; a brother Fred Risch, of Litchfield; and six grandchildren.
