Mrs. John Vandeberg, a prominent resident of the town of Marysland, died very suddenly at her home about noon last Sunday. She was ill only one day, being seized with the chills the day before. The deceased was 46 years of age. She came to Swift County from Carter County where she lived a number of years. She was a good Christian woman, and was a kind and loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband and thirteen children, eight of whom live at-home. Two sons and two daughters reside in North Dakota and another Daughter, Mrs. Thomas Dolan, lives in Marysland. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved members of the family in this their hour of trial. The funeral services were held Wednesday noon at the Catholic Church at Danvers, Rev. P. M. Shea officiating. All of the children except one daughter were present. Friends and neighbors largely attended the funeral.
