FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Linda Bowdin Submitted: Sept 2002 ========================================================================= I was going to transcribe Evergreen Cemetery for the USGenweb MNTombstone files but it is a very large cemetery and I found the out the "Todd Co. Historical Society has transcribed the headstones for the Evergreen Cem." so I want to pass the following information on so anyone who is searching can contact them and hopefully find those they are looking for. 1- The Todd Co. Historical Society has transcribed the headstones for the Evergreen Cem. in Long Prairie and will allow you to search at the premises for $2, and will charge $0.25 for a copy of the transcription. If they do the work for you it is a minimum of $5 for under an hour or $10/hr for over an hour. They also have obituaries indexed for 1883-1952 and will copy an obit for $0.50. (Fees subject to change) 2-Darlene Chase with the City at (320)732-2252 has records of burials. 3-Don Shallus (not sure of spelling) is the Sexton (320)732-3357. He has a map of the cemetery.
