Van R Lee's wife, Elizabeth D Chapman, was the daughter of Asher Chapman. He 
was born in New Marlborough, Berkshire, MA. Elizabeth was born in Amherst, 
Lorain Co., OH and the intention of marriage between Van R Lee and Elizabeth 
Chapman was 17 Feb 1853 Lorain Co., OH

I am a descendant of Asher Chapman's half sister, Sarah Chapman Lane
