Joiner, at 637 St. Peter St., St. Paul, was the scene at high noon Wednesday of a quiet but pretty wedding, none but the family and Mrs. Asa Gillett of this city being present. The scene was the marriage of their daughter, Miss Ivanetta, to Ira C. Gardner, of this city, Rev. E.B. Chase of Chicago performing the ceremony. After the congradulations were ended they sat down to a bounteous luncheon and all present had a pleasant time. The young couple came to this city the same evening where they will commence housekeeping as soon as their rooms are ready for them. Both bride and groom have lived in this city and their friends are numbered only by the number who have had the pleasure of knowing them and those who know them best think the most of them. All will rejoice to welcome them home for the future and may they live long and happily together is the wish of their many friends and the Graphic Sentinel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LAKE CITY-MINNESOTA GRAPHIC 2-2-1956 PAGE 12 COLUMN 3 IRA GARDNER RITES HELD ON SATURDAY.
