Berryman Note: This obituary was taken from the newspaper "The Lake City Graphic". 6/1980 Mrs. Carrie Jostock Dies at Age 88 Mrs. Carrie Jostock, 88, Lake City, died June 27 at the Lake City Hospital. Mrs. Jostock, the former Carrie Wilde, was born Feb. 23, 1892, in Wisconsin. She was married to Fred Hugley in Wabasha in 1923, and later divorced. She was married to John Jostock Sr. in Iowa in 1946. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Schnittyer and Mrs. Beverly Gott, both of Everett, Washington; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Tshoepe of Lake City; Mrs. Margaret Redding of Millville and Mrs. William (Louise) Pembleton of Eldorado Spring, Missouri; one brother, William Wilde of Wabasha; one adopted brother, Ralph Bemmert of Rochester; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, one brother and five sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 10 am Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, West Albany. Father Harold Gavin officiated with burial in the church cemetery.
