John Henry Dickman, a resident of Wabasha county for more than forty years, died at his home in the village of Hammond Thursday, March 5th at the age of 71 years. The deceased was born in Germany in 1853 and came to America when a young man. In 1890 he was united in marriage to Marie Martin, who with three daughters are left to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held from the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, March 8th, Rev. Lenz of Breman officiating. The children surviving are Mrs. Archie Rose, Pine Island; Mrs. F. J. Wadley, Millville, and Miss Ruth Dickman at home. One brother and one sister also survive.
