Mrs. Emma Till, Millville, Dies

Mrs. Emma Till, 71, Millville, died June 7 at Hillcrest Nursing and 
Retirement Home in Plainview. Mrs. Till, the former Emma Clara Halpaus, 
was born April 4, 1913, in Zumbro Township, Wabasha County. She was 
married to Paul Till on Aug. 25, 1942, in Wabasha. He preceded her in 
death in 1968. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Wilde of Lake 
City and Mrs. Martha Ponto of Elgin. She was preceded in death by a sister 
and a brother. Funeral services were held June 10 at Grace United Church 
of Christ in Millville, with Pastor Everett Schloessler officiating. 
Burial was in the Millville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry and Robert 
Pahl, Michael and Robert Zimny, Eugene Halpaus and Ervin Ponto.
