Kirtz, 64, Lake City, died at his home Jan. 9. Mr. Kirtz was born July 22, 1915 in Theilman to Nicholas and Mary Theresa Weber Kirtz. He was married to Della Vosler on Oct. 9, 1945, in Lake City. Mr. Kirtz owned Lake City Water Supply Co. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and also the VFW Post #8729. Survivors include his widow; one son, Rodney Kirtz, Fridley; four daughters, Mrs. Gary (Joyce) Freiburg, Frontenac, Shirley at home, Mrs. Richard (Janiel) Tomforde and Mrs. Nancy Binner, Lake City; six grandchildren; his mother, Minneapolis; four brothers, Al and William, Lake City, Lester, Zion, Illinois, and Elmer, Mautson, Wisconsin; and one sister, Mrs. Roy (Bernetta) Klingsporn, Maplewood, Minnesota. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church. Pastor Ralph Goede officiated with burial in St. John's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Erland Banks, Ervin Dick, Kenneth Plank, Dale Barghusen, Bruce Barnum and Donald Lafferty. The Anderson Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
