Redding, 76, Millville, died Thursday at the Lake City Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past two years. Born Nov. 7, 1896 near Millville, to Mr. and Mrs. John Redding. He married Margaret Wilde, Nov. 28, 1939 in St. Patrick's Church, West Albany. The couple farmed in the Millville area. Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. William (Shirley) Cox of Lake City, three grandchildren; one brother, Albert of Millville, and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Senst of Plainview and Mrs. Frank (Elsie) Shea of Millville. Funeral services were held Sunday at St. Patrick's Church, West Albany. The Rev. Fr. Joseph Frisch officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were James Nolan, Mark Leonard, David Wadley, James Sexton, Lawrence Sexton and Robert Geschmann. The Schleicher Funeral Home of Millville was in charge of arrangements.
