Austin Daily Herald, August 10, 1945. Henry Hagen, 74, Dies at Houpkins Henry Hagen, 74, of Elkton died Thursday evening at 7 o'clock at the home of his son, Oscar Hagen in Hopkins. The body was brought to the Schutte Funeral home, but funeral arrangements have not been completed. August 11, 1945 Vital Statistics Funerals Funeral services for Henry Hagen of Elkton will be held Monday at 1:30 at the Schutte Funeral home and at 2:15 at St John's Lutheran church near Elkton, Rev E G Gaede officiating. Burial will be in St John's cemetery, near Elkton. August 13, 1945 Personal Notes Harold Hagen of Kingsville, Texas has arrived to attend the funeral of his father, Henry Hagen. Mr. And Mrs. D H Spreckels of St Paul have arrived to attend the funeral of Henry Hagen. Mower County News, Thursday August 16, 1945, page 8. Marshall- Friends were sorry to hear of the death of Henry Hagen of Elkton, who passed away at the home of his son and daughter in law. Mr. And Mrs. Oscar Hagen in Hopkins, Thursday. Dexter Mr. And Mrs. Dick Spreckles, formerly of Dexter, now of St Paul, were called here by the death of their brother-in-law, Henry Hagen of Elkton. Mr. Hagen died at the home of his son, Oscar Hagen of Hopkins. Funeral services were conducted Monday at St John's Lutheran church near Dexter, with Rev Gaede of Preston officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
