Harlan, being a resident of Plainview, passed away at his home in Minneapolis, Monday, March 25th after an illness of about four weeks death being due to the infirmities of old age. Deceased??? Was born September 17, 1836 at Quebec, Canada where he spent his younger days. When a young man he moved to Wisconsin and after residing there a short time moved to this county, first locating at Millville, and then moving to Plainview, where he resided for many years. For the past number of years he has made his home in Minneapolis. He is survived by three daughters and three sons. The remains were brought here Thursday accompanied by the eldest daughter, Mrs. E. O. Marshall of Rochester. Short services were held at the grave conducted by Rev. D. J. Lavety and internment made in Greenwood Cemetery.
