Berryman Harry Heldt, 59, Former Resident, Dies in Accident Harry Carl Heldt, 59, Rochester, Formerly of Lake City, died early July 13 in a one-car accident near Oronoco. His death and five others over the weekend raised the Minnesota road toll to 315, compared to 396 a year ago. Investigating officers said the car left Olmstead County Road 12 about 1:20 am Sunday a half-mile northwest of Oronoco and struck a tree, pinning him inside. He died immediately. Mr. Heldt was born June 17, 1916, in Wabasha County to Herman and Anna Heldt. He married Mildred Vosler and was later divorced. He had been employed as a security guard at Crenlo Co., Rochester. Survivors include one son, Steve Heldt, Pine Island; four daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Marlene) Blunt of Winthrop, Mrs. Ard elle (Phyllis) Adler and Josephine Heldt of Rochester and Mrs. Ray (Julie) Chavez of Billings, Montana; five grandchildren, one brother, John Heldt of lake City; and two sisters, Mrs. Ben (Maude) Holst of Lake City and Mrs. Aaron (Helen) Lopp of Scales, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Tuesday at the Anderson Chapel in Lake City. Burial was in the Jacksonville Cemetery. The Rev. Carl Schroedel officiated. Pallbearers were Verle Copp, Wally Moechnig, Earl Berg, Irvin Mohike, Herbert Krause and Gene Briske. The Anderson Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
