Mr. Heldt was stricken while he was caring for his horses in the morning and death resulted from heart failure. While he had been ailing slightly he was about doing work every day and did not seem to have any reason to feel that the end would come so suddenly. Mr. Heldt was born in West Albany Township November 11, 1875, and was therefore 51 years, 5 months and 2 days old at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Anna Roland at Jacksonville on June 8, 1910, by Rev. George Farber. The deceased is mourned by his widow and four children, John and Henry and Maude and Helen who feel most keenly the loss of their beloved husband and father. Mr. Heldt is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Walter Seivers of Lake Township and Mrs. Earl Huntsinger of Rochester. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the home and later at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City, Rev. T. H. Albrecht officiating. The family has the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement. Note: This obituary was taken from the newspaper "The Lake City Graphic".
