The former Ida Nora Halpaus was born July 19, 1908. She married Ervin Pilger. She is survived by her widower; two sons, John of Atlanta, GA., and Don of St. Paul; one daughter, Mrs. Everett (Sally) Houle of St. Paul; seven grandchildren; one sister, Betty Slauson; and two brothers, Harley Anderson and John Halpaus all of Lake City. Funeral services were held Monday at 11 am at the Mueller Mortuary Parkway Chapel. Burial was in the Union Cemetery, St. Paul. Note: This obituary was taken from the newspaper "The Lake City Graphic".
