LAID TO REST Again the death roll has been called in creased and the ranks of old citizens made less by the death last Tuesday evening of James E. Gardner, who died of chronic bronchitis, and other diseases setting in, at the age of 55 years. Mr. Gardner settled in this city twenty-seven years ago and has been proud To call it his home since. For the last eight years he has been one of the traveling salesman of the Jewell Nursery Company and has been very successful in this capacity. He leaves a wife and two sons, William and Ira, of this city and a daughter, Mrs. C.S. Davis of Cambridge, Pa. The funeral services were held at the family residence on Thursday, Rev. M.B. Critchett officiating, and the remains placed in the Lakewood Cemetery for rest.
