SANBORN DIED ON WEDNESDAY Resided Here Since 1884 - Husband Died Year Ago - Funeral This Afternoon at 2:30 Mrs. Lousia A. Sanborn, an old resident of this city, passed away at her home on North Prairie street Wednesday afternoon at about 4 o'clock, following an illness of several years duration. She was born in Orebro, Sweden, Dec. 23, 1855, and was married there to J.A. Sanborn 39 years ago. They came to this country in 1884 and settled in lake City, where she has resided since. Her husband died about a year ago. Eight children survive and five grandchildren. The children at her beside were Dr. Lawerence T. Sanborn, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Ellen York, of Winlock, Wash., Mrs. Alma Fowler, of Two Harbors, Minn., Mrs. Jennie Carr and Harold Sanborn of this city. Other children surviving are Hugo A. of Saginaw, Minn., Mrs. Esther M. Harkness, of Puyallup, Wash., and Mrs. Anna M. Livingston, of Winlock, Wash. Funeral services will be conducted at the Swedish Baptist church this afternoon at 2:30. Rev. C.H. Miller, will officiate. Lake City Graphic, Lake City, MN - May 14, 1920
