Former Z. F. Teacher Dies at 65

Mrs. Edward Zell, 65, died in Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire, 
Wisconsin on July 1 after being hospitalized six months. Before her 
marriage on June 26, 1929, the former Lettie Smith taught in the Zumbro 
Falls School for several years. The Funeral Mass was offered at Immaculate 
Conception Church in Eau Claire July 4. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. 
Survivors include her widower, one daughter, two sons, nine grandchildren 
and one brother. Attending the funeral from this area were Mr. and Mrs. 
Phil baker and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Zell, Alfred Zell and family, 
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Zell and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Sylvester.
